tux_br Posted August 14, 2006 Share Posted August 14, 2006 Yes, Sparda is correct and ARP can not be done by internet, and yes, Vako is correct when getting local access. There is a new technology called metroethernet, the PE's are switches and if there are any public address on any ports (loopbacks for example) you can try gain access to the concentrator, but it will be hard work running code on this equipment in order to affect a machine atatched to it, since those equipments run proprietary software.
