Okay, so I have been trying to create a USB Hacksaw. I downloaded the file from this website. And when I open it with RAR, I can see all the folders, etc., but when I try to copy the WIP folder to my USB (step 3 in the walkthrough), nothing shows up in the USB window. The folder shows (as translucent) up when I change my folder options to view all hidden folders, but the files within the folders aren't there. And the weird thing is that when I try to copy the files again, I get a message telling me that the same file already exists on the USB drive. I have searched all the forums and haven't found any solution to this problem. None of the video walkthroughs available online hint at a solution either. So I would really appreicate it if someone familiar with the Hacksaw could tell help me out. Also, please don't just post something saying the answer is somewhere else in the forum. If that is the case, then provide the link to that page. Much thanks.

The file is probably marked not only hidden, but system, like a pagefile.sys file would be, which you cant see unless you show system files as well. If it says its there when trying to overwrite, then its there.

Thanks for the response. I unchecked "hide protected operating system files" and was able to locate the send.bat file. I edited the file and loaded it onto my USB. Of course, the hack didn't work at all when I tested it out on another computer. The directions make it look so easy and I'm probably making a stupid mistake, but damn, I cannot get this thing to work at all.

All I need is a hack that will dump all usb contents onto the PC. It doesn't even need to email me the files. Switchblade won't work because that just retrieves passwords, etc., but not actual files. And I can't find any helpful walkthroughs for the USB Dumper. Any suggestions on how or where I could obtain a hack to accomplish this?

P.S. Do any of these hacks actually work anymore, especially with Windows 7?

Most of these flaws have been patched in XP and no, they shouldn't work in 7 because autorun is disabled. If you have access to the machine though, run everything you need to manually.

If you want plug-n-hack tools hands free, look at the Teensy tools Darren and Iron Geek have been working on. Iron Geek and Rel1k have a nice powershell hack for doing just about anything as admin, so check that out.

First of all, thanks for taking the time to help. I know a little more now about what I need. Basically, the situation is like this. The target computer is part of a network controlled by an administrator. I found this program called AutoUSBCheck by Paludour. Awesome little hack that works flawlessly. I downloaded it and ran the installer and voila, when I plugged in a USB drive, it silently copied all the files to my computer. That's exactly what I needed. But now I've run into another problem. When I tried to install it on the target computer, I was told that I needed administrative privileges. I have no idea what the admin username and password are, nor do I know how to go about retrieving them. I don't think a simple keylogger would work because the "administrator" controls all the computers from one central location and would therefore never physically be at the target computer. Any ideas on how I can get the login info or bypass it altogether. I don't want anything that resets the password, since that would be a MAJOR red flag when someone else tries to log in.
