SirMax
Has anybody figured out how to format one of these yet? The drive shows up as a CD in both Windows and OS X. Disk utility is no help and terminal errors out with every command. I suppose it could be using something similar to u3, but no u3 utility I've used has been able to write to it. PID: 1502 VID: 05AC Any help would be much appreciated.
astromech_kuhns
have you tried to use a linux distro like ubuntu and boot into a live cd and then use the disk utility to select the hard drive and then reformat it? also, may i ask why you are reformatting it? Netshroud
I forgot which tech site it was that said it, but they are apparently writable so you have to be careful. If you're trying to screw it up, it should therefore be easy. :S Edited November 8, 2010 by Psychosis
