ya really. hopefully others will follow. seems like more and more open source projects are being born.

See its not about the Company's perspective about a product, its about the user's experience with the product. You want to give the end user a good experience not a bad experience.

Giving the users a bad experience will frustrate them and make them seek another product elsewhere.
