BraytonAK
I've been searching for a good, clear article to use at work so that I can slipstream our (very often used) Windows XPsp2 discs. Currently, we set up many machines a week. Waiting for each one to download and install Office and Windows updates from our WUS server can take hours. Ghosting the drives is rarely an option because, as a non-profit, we have a hodge-podge of machines. My two basic questions are: Where can I find the clearest guide on slipstreaming updates that came out post-SP2, and Is there a simple way to grab the update packages without having to search each one out? kickarse
The easiest way is to use Autopatcher for a post install updates or RyanVM update packager with Nlite (or xpcreate) for pre install. Check out the www.msfn.org forums
