niels Posted September 30, 2010 Share Posted September 30, 2010 Hey, I'm running a pc on which I installed Ubuntu 10.10, when I configured the server I attached a monitor the pc. I installed X11VNC and SSH. Everything was working perfect. But now I detached the monitor and the X11VNC won't work now. It connects to the server but won't show any screen. Sparda Posted September 30, 2010 Share Posted September 30, 2010 x11 vnc is meant to be attached to already running x sessions, you need to use a VNC server that starts a new x session.
