miatech
guys, I've been looking for an episode in which Darren shows an application to package vnc to privide remote support, and I can't find it. (it's not fastpush)... this was more for support over the internet, in which you setup a listener and have the customer connect back to you. The packaging software will also inclue a txt file with the dns name of your machine... if someone can point me to the episode or somewhere I can see how's done thanks
Trip
you could just get them to install it via the phone and setup port forwarding ;)

Infiltrator
You should check out this Hak5 wiki, http://www.hak5.org/w/index.php/Remotely_Install_VNC Edit: or watch this hak5 video http://www.5min.com/Video/Remotely-install...etwork-28661118 Edited September 22, 2010 by Infiltrator
miatech
sparda thanks... it was close, but that wasn't what he used in the episode. That episode was about 2 years ago. But I guess I can work with that. The thing that I like about the one I'm talking is that you had complete control over the packaging process of vnc. thanks

Infiltrator
Was it GoToAssist? I think it works the way you want, all you have to do is send an URL to the end user you are trying to remotely assist. Get he/she to click on the link and bang instant access to their PC.
