Where Do You Get Your Stuff

So recently I've been searching for more computer stuff. I found a site (not ebay or craigslist) that is great. GSAauctions.gov, I signed up and its been fun since. SO MUCH stuff for so cheap. Only problem is you gotta pick it up so your cant search all across the country. Lucky me, I found some computer equipment in my area and I bid. It went up to 330 bucks and I finally gave up. About a week later I saw another lot. I bid and as of today I just won. I paid 129 for:

CPU's:

DELL, 4 EA, GX280;

3 EA, GX270;

2 EA, GX260/

MICRON AN430TX, 1 EA;

LAPTOPS:

IBM KLNTB803, 1 EA;

DELL INSPIRON 8100/, 1 EA;

DELL LATITUDE CPI, 1 EA;

IBM THINKPAD 1831, 1 EA;

MONITORS:

DELL: 2 EA, 1703FP; 2 EA, E771P; M782, 1 EA;

MICRON 15FGX, 1 EA;

AUSTIN MN2412, 1 EA;

PRINTER:

HP LASERJET 4V, 1 EA;

ROUTERS:

CISCO: 4 EA, 1601; 5 EA, 2501;

SWITCH CISCO CATALYST 1900, 1 EA;

All in all a good haul, sell off two desktop/monitor combos and I make profit.

Theres always dumpster diving but not around here, nothing good

So where do you get your stuff and what have you got cheap/free?

The only issue I have is, that its located in UAS not AU. Apart from that, its a pretty good auction website for buying cheap stuffs.

That gov site seems interesting... I was poking around on it, they are selling 3 96 processor computers in one auction for 50$ atm. Says it cost them 250,000 each, so that's 750,000 for 50$. But those 96 processors...400 MHz =P

I was talking to my friend about auction sites, and he gave me a list.

I haven't tried any of those but he says they are good.

Nice haul! I've worked as a gov IT contractor before and I didn't even know about this site.

Right now, I see one lot where you can get a whole damn Dell server room. Closes at 4:04 PM CST today and it's only at $29 right now! :lol:
