Guest Deleted_Account
You've never tried doing command line stuff with an on screen keyboard before have you? It's a pain in the ass. Yup do CLI stuff on my itouch all the time :P maybe its different on Ubuntu but none the less I never have problems with it (besides sloooooow speeds on itouch :/)
5ive
Now you got me thinking, I wonder how hard it would be to write a script of some sort that could import a bunch of CLI stuff into Swype's dictionary.
chikpee
+1 to CLI with a touchpad keyboard being a pain in the ass. Love having a terminal emulator on the iPhone and Android...hate typing on it though
CrYpTiC
Well it can give you a couple hundred bucks towards an android tablet when they start coming out... Keep for now sell in a few months still for good money if not scratched :)
VaKo
The HP Slate isn't going to be out until 2011, and will probally feature WebOS rather than W7. As for hacking on it, a cheap netbook is going to be 10 times better for the task.

That's ok, WebOS is BusyBox with Palm's UI, and it is very easy to package existing linux applications to make them installable via GUI. If there was a slate with WebOS and a functioning pentesting suite from BT4, the multitasking abilities alone would make it an excellent platform
