Mr. Stuky
Sup Guys, Posted a while back about building a server for hosting game servers. I purchased http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16816152097 this beastie barebone and bought 6GB of Ram. My question is which CPU should I get? It has 2 Sockets for dual quad xeon but Im only going to buy one for now until later on ill buy its twin. Can I buy any LGA 1366? or does it have to be Nehalem? I was thinking of buying a Intel Xeon W3530 Bloomfield 2.8GHz 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Server Processor but the server says its Nehalem ready, so I need a Intel Xeon X5550 Nehalem 2.66GHz LGA 1366? Thanks.
Sparda
How many servers are you going to be hosting? Ideally each server thread should have it's own processing core, but you can probably get away with a bit more than this.

Games would be TF:2 CS:S etc. Later on I'm thinking of buying another machine if I get enough people to buy from me.
