Stuck Msn Webcam

i have labtec webcam

last one on link

happens this

my cam only conects on video conference mode msn messenger

i unistalled msn and stuff and still does that

by what i remember i formatted my pc and before was only video conference mode and after format too it also

happens at several email accounts

my OS is win 7 ultimate

in amsn webcam works good and probably other clients too

msn messenger only videoconference

i really dont have a clue why this happens

can you guys give me a clue or a solution on this?

It is probably only turned on when software polls to access it. Like Windows Live Messenger or whatever cam-capable software.

When I used my old webcam many years ago it would only turn on the light when it was in use with whatever software was accessing it. If nothing is actively using it, it would go into a "sleep" ish mode.

Ok so how do i get normal mode again?

before it always worked

and i unistalled everything

i setuped a vm with win 7 same thing

win 7 has 2 webcam modes right? video conference and normal cam
