2003 Server Shared Folder Help

i have been doing some IT work for a local charity and i am trying to help them out with some server issues over the years they have had many people changing share folder settings and adding and removing users, so i am looking for software **Free** that can audit win 2k3 server shared folders, ive had a quick look at ms 2k3 admin resource tool kit but it all seems to be command line based.

also if any one can point me to a good noob guide to active directory, i did a 2k3 server course in 2003 and never touched a server since :-) though i did pass it :-)

i found a program called dumpsec formally dumpacl from http://www.systemtools.com/somarsoft/

any one out there used or tested this software seems its been around for some time.

What are you trying to achieve by auditing W2k3?

If you just want to see what users have what permissions to the folder, windows provides this already.

Right click the folder > Security > Advanced > Effective Permissions.
