thereisnoonehere
I was wondering if it was possible to make a dot.tk alias directory? something like mysite.tk/forum. just like hak5.org/forum.
Sparda
Create a directory called 'forum', put every thing in that directory.
Infiltrator
If you are using apache as your webserver, just go to the httpd directory and create a folder called Forums in there. To access the folder via the URL. just type http://localhost/forums/
digip
I don't think I have ever seen a legit site on .tk domain. Come to think of it, every site I ever saw linked to a .tk domain name was in some form of spam, either by email, or on forums, guestbooks, blog comments, etc.
thereisnoonehere
Dot.tk is a URL forwarding service not a web host. I know how to use the mysite.com/forum with a webhost but I was wondering if it were possible if it could be done with a URL forwarding service like co.cc or dot.tk? Sparda
No, can't be by DNS. Has to be done by the web server.
Infiltrator
When it comes to URL forwarding, you could enable one of the following modules into apache's config file mod_alias or mod_rewrite Here is a tutorial http://www.yolinux.com/TUTORIALS/ApacheRedirect.html
