[Version 1] Uac Blockage?

Recommended Posts

After watching the Hak5 episode introducing the rubber ducky, I was left with this one question.

Won't the new UAC control in windows vista/7 prevent macros accessing cool windows components such as regedit? Even if the process to close the UAC message is automated it will be completely obvious to the user because the delay is substantial.

Does this tool automatically dodge the UAC control completely?

I've been thinking about this also, is it as simple as hitting the left arrow key and enter?

I'm not personally fussed about what happens on screen at this stage, but the more stealth the better!

One of the things I'm going to look at later.

The UAC prompt will appear, but you can easily get rid of it by just making it press LEFT + ENTER or Alt+C (Alt+Y for Win7).
