[Version 1] Dev Kits Shipped

Recommended Posts

Dev kits shipped today. That means if you signed up you have a 1 in 5 chance of finding a rubber ducky at your door in 1 week if you're in the USA or 2 weeks if you're across the pond.

The selection process consisted of Evil Server, a 6-pack of New Castle Brown Ale and a game I like to call Scroll Wheel Roulette.

I tried to PM everyone who was selected but it turns out 80% of people on the forum have disabled their messengers so no dice. Not sure what to tell ya since I didn't collect email addresses and don't have time to cross reference 'em with the forums. Sorry to be vague but I'm busy moving. =/

This is what I sent:

Today I shipped you a USB Rubber Ducky Dev Kit.

This is a semi-automated message. Please do not reply. I do not frequently check private messages.

You dev kit may or may not include a USB 5-pin mini to USB Male A adapter or cable, 5 way DIP switch, assorted LEDs, Hak5 stickers or old bits of laptop RAM I had laying around the house and needed to get rid of.

All shipments were made to the address you provided by USPS First-Class mail. I cannot provide tracking numbers or reship if yours gets lost in the mail. Domestic shipments should take between 3-5 days. If you live outside the US expect a week or two for delivery.

International hackers should also be happy to know all shipments were declared as a $1 gift. Hope that thwarts any additional VAT.

I'll be on the board and wiki with sample code soon.

quack quietly.

D

Just checked and it seems to be OFF on default, so no wonder so many have it disabled! :)

The option to DISABLE it is off by default. However, whether the option to disable it is on or off, trying to send a PM says that PM's are disabled on this board and I can't find any place to read them.

I want to give a huge thanks to Darren for the ducky kit!! mine showed up today. The mail actually delivered it to the next street over but the guy that lives there brought it over! maybe I should head to the casino with luck like this

Got my dev kit in the mail today! Thanks, Darren!

I've got everything installed and working on my Mac. It's been a while since I've worked on Atmel projects outside of the safe, warm, and cozy Arduino IDE environment. I worked on several projects on the AVR Butterfly using AVR Studio (or whatever it's called) on Windows in past.

This is gonna be a fun project. I'll be running tests on coworkers' computers at the office ;).

Lol, ill do it at school. We have dual boot mac pros. Which i find funny. They cant fund teachers but they can buy these amazing mac pros that dual boot and the servers cost $100grand a piece and they have like 6 at each school. Makes me angry. ANyways,

back on topic, ima be testing mine at school ;D Made a couple programs to learn a little bit already.

I'm wondering when I'll get mine. Darren said international shipments should take a week or two, but I know that ThinkGeek sent me 3 t-shirts from the US to my front door (Australia) in 60 hours from ordering.

Plus, tomorrow (Monday) is a public holiday.
