jonike007
I plug the open mesh in after setting it up and having it working for a few days now I get no power lights, (no lights at all) plug into the eithernet port and nothing on my laptop or the open mesh.. did it go boom? I think it did just wanted a second option or if anyone has any ideas. Thanks
Sebkinne
What I would do in your case: Open the casing up, see if on the top part of the casing you see any black / brown marks (caused by heat). If that is the case, it is most likely fried. Did you experiment with any battery packs or other way of powering? 4 double A batteries should not fry your device, and a USB cable cut off should also be allright. I suggest you dont try with other batteries, cables etc. as there is the potential of it going "boom" Seb
jonike007
I don't see any burn marks. I had it powering through usb and I think when I went to solder the connection I switched It, so I'm guessing that's what did it. Oh well live and learn not to solder after a few beers and 2am lol

Emeryth
There is a slight probability that you only damaged the voltage regulator, you could still try applying 3.3V directly to the pins inside.
