Xqtftqx
Hello everyone! With the teensy introduction in the latest episode, ive though about how all the nirsoft utilities are detected by antivirus. So i introduce USBCheckout, an alternative to all the nirsoft utilities in 1 easy exe. The current catch is.. its not finished. But i thought i may introduce it so i can get some ideas and feedback. Currently what i have working is: Basic System Info, Current Clipboard, Product Keys, and Pidgin Accounts. Its dumped in a format like this: USBCheckout Version 1.0.0.0 By Xqtftqx ======================================== System Info: System Dir: C:\Windows\system32 Machine Name: XQTFTQX-PC Username: ======================================== Clipboard: hak5.org ======================================== Windows Product Key: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx ======================================== (Some stuff removed for obvious reasons) Its coded in VB.NET, and will be open source when its released. So, what do you think? Im of course going to add more programs such as IE, Chrome, Firefox, etc.
Jen
I think it's a great idea as long as it's not too much work for you!
Alias
Sounds pretty awesome and you should continue development, however I suggest releasing the code now and getting others to collaborate. Also you may run into a problem with computers that don't have the .NET runtime installed. Hopefully you're using .NET 2.0 when compiling cause it'll most likely work with more versions of Windows. Xqtftqx
I would currently release it in all the open-source goodness right now, however, since i opted for programming instead of calculus in math this year, ive decided to use this for my File I/O Project, and according to my teacher "Using open-source code is plagiarizing." Once this project gets graded, ill set up a google code page and grant svn write access as normal. Also, id still like ideas. Whats some programs that are wanted? sablefoxx
Some ideas, some would be more difficult then others to add; - Dump of saved wifi keys, they're saved in the registry somewhere. - List of installed programs - List of services running / open ports

I will work on it
H@L0_F00
I recently found (I don't remember how...) WZCook which isn't deleted upon access by McAfee at my school like WirelessKeyView is.
