NegativeSpace
I have been looking for an Azurewave BT-253 Bluetooth card for 3 almost 4 months! I can buy one from the Asus store in Europe, but the shipping costs more than the card. Azurewave makes a ton of products, and they are put in tons of products in factory, but I can not find any store in the United States or Canada, or even Colombia (since I have a friend there), that sells anything made by Azurewave. There has been one of these sold on ebay since December, and it had already ended when I found it. I've seen a bunch of Eee's for parts for sale that have the card, but they are going for around 50-75 dollars, which is more than I would pay for a new card from Europe. Does anyone know of a place that sells this card? (Azurewave BT-253) Edited April 10, 2010 by NegativeSpace

NegativeSpace
i dont know but is there a specific reason for getting this card ? Sorry for taking forever to respond...... Anyway, the reason I need this specific card, is because I have a laptop (ASUS UL) that I want to equip with bluetooth hardware. This model had the option for bluetooth, but my particular one does not have the optional bluetooth hardware. My laptop has everything in place, except for the card and cable. The mobo has the header, and everything else it needs, the OS is already configured, drivers installed, shortcut key present, etc., etc. I would be just as happy with another card with same functionality and hardware specs, but so far I haven't been able to find if one exists. These things are really difficult to get a hold of for a reasonable price. I know 50 or 60 dollars isn't a ton of money, but these cards probably only cost 2 dollars to manufacture, and over paying by 3,000% is not something I'm willing to concede to just yet. I might end up going that way and ordering one from Europe in the future, but for now, I'm hoping someone has a a bricked ASUS Eee or some other ASUS machine that has this card and they are willing to sell seperately (or with the rest of the machine for the right price). Have you tried buying one from ebay?
