Bricked Zippit?

Ok, so i tried to hack my zipit ( It was version 1.13 ) i putted the:

Autoflasher-r2 in my Mini sd, and extracted there.

Then downloaded:

wireless-image-zipit2.tar

And renamed the: /boot/zImage-2.6.29 to kernel.bin

I guess something went wrong, cause i do can see the "linux logo" but then nothing happens, soo whats wrong??

Hi pato wlmc, ur on the right track. nothing is suppose to happen. Use the restart button on the left side of the zipit to turn it off till u finish the last couple of steps.

Once you see the Penguin logo the autoflash script has succeeded. Now you must supply a userland. Follow the next bit of the tutorial.

i've discovered that some 2gb micro- or mini-sd card might not work. you might want to try it with a 4gig card.

You see the zipit dosn't have enough ram for our linux userland images. So you must provide one on a mini sd card. I'm running debian on mine atm.
