Netshroud
Hi, I have Steam running under WINE just fine, but when I try launch a game, it just hangs, using 80-100% of the CPU. psychosis@Psychosis-PC:~/Desktop$ lspci | grep -i nvidia 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G96 [GeForce 9500 GT] (rev a1) psychosis@Psychosis-PC:~/Desktop$ glxinfo | grep direct direct rendering: Yes GL_EXT_Cg_shader, GL_EXT_depth_bounds_test, GL_EXT_direct_state_access, psychosis@Psychosis-PC:~/Desktop$ uname -a Linux Psychosis-PC 2.6.31-14-generic #48-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 16 14:05:01 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux psychosis@Psychosis-PC:~/Desktop$ wine --version wine-1.1.31 psychosis@Psychosis-PC:~$ wine D:\\Steam\\Steam.exe -silent -applaunch 440 fixme:process:SetProcessShutdownParameters (00000100, 00000000): partial stub. fixme:urlmon:CoInternetSetFeatureEnabled 5, 0x00000002, 1, stub fixme:urlmon:CoInternetSetFeatureEnabled 10, 0x00000002, 1, stub CellID: Fetching server list from CSDS. . . When I Ctrl+C to stop it, I get the following message: Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-close.c: 731: _dl_close: Assertion `map->l_init_called' failed! It does this for both CS:S and TF2, I haven't tried any other games yet. I have the following launch options set in Steam: -window -novid -width 1024 -height 768 I'm running the latest nvidia drivers (190 IIRC). Any help? -------------------- Also, note above: err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {77f10cf0-3db5-4966-b520-b7c54fd35ed6} not registered err:ole:CoGetClassObject no class object {77f10cf0-3db5-4966-b520-b7c54fd35ed6} could be created for context 0x1 I'm guessing that refers to flash. I've run the Flash Player installer under Wine, but flash doesn't load. Any ideas?
