nemesys
I copied and pasted your exact config for kaspersky and it worked fine for me. Maybe you need to specify root (hd0,0) above the kernel line in the kaspersky section. Replace (hd0,0) with what every your actual thumbdrive is. Specifically if you have multiple hard drives in the computer you are testing on this would cause a problem if it's incorrect. It also wouldn't hurt to put a forward slash in front of boot so that it looks like loop=/boot/kav/image.squashfs It is working both ways for me though. BASES.ID needs to be on the root of the thumbdrive too iirc. What errors are you getting also?

Are there any files on system rescue cd that have to be placed in the root of the drive? yes, recuecd and initram.igz. So your menu would be something like this: title System Rescue CD: repair unbootable or otherwise. damaged computer systems root (hd0,0) kernel /rescuecd initrd=initram.igz video=ofonly vga=0 scandelay=5 initrd /initram.igz

H@L0_F00
It has to do with the emulation being lost when Windows boots. I successfully created a PE that loads into RAMdisk from the first link, although you might find the other two useful: http://www.911cd.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=10482 http://www.911cd.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=19333 http://www.911cd.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=19737
