jimmyfiend Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Ok, so i have had some trouble downloading auditor, slow downloads, broken connections etc. Now i am having trouble booting from the bloody disk. Anyone else had this problem. Knoppix works just fine which i burned recently, but auditor won't boot at all. Running an Asus laptop, 1.8ghz 64 bit. 512 ram etc Any ideas guys? Do i have to do something special to it for it to run. Also yes i have changed my boot priorities, lol Quote
Arsenic Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 I think it has to do with the version you downloaded, and your wireless card... If you want to be able to use Auditor Security Collection on a system with an IPW2200 card you need to download the "-no-ipw2100" version of the iso otherwise it will not boot. and for the rest... http://www.remote-exploit.org/index.php/Auditor_mirrors Quote
jimmyfiend Posted July 10, 2006 Author Posted July 10, 2006 Thanks mate, going to give it a try just trying to get the mirrors to work. Had this trouble before which is probably why i ended up getting the wrong type disk. lol Quote
