Hi guys,

I am trying to consolidate all my systems together. I do tutorials on software etc. and therefore have different OS on different PC's. I know I could just use Vbox or something but I need speed really and desktop real estate!

I am also studying for my MCSE 2008 so I have two Windows Server 2008 eval copy. machines and a few xp machines. My Pc list is here;

Windows XP (2)

Windows Vista

Windows server 2008 (2)

Linux (2)

I was wondering if I would be able to add all these together in an ESXi server? I have a gaming machine that I would be running the VSphere client from. I just wanted to see how hard it would be to run client OS's on the server? I need tonbe able to see the GUI of each system in full screen view so if that is not possible, I need to re-think my solution.

Thanks, any help on this would be great,

P.S Here is the desired spec of the server (is this enough?)

Seagate ST3500418AS 500GB (5)

Kingston 133X Compact Flash Elite Pro 8GB (for esxi)

Gigabyte - GA-EP43-UD3L

Intel Q9400 Core 2 Quad Proccessor

550W PSU

12Gb DDR2 Ram

Thanks in advance ! :rolleyes:

The ICH10 is reported to work with ESX/ESXi, but you probably wont get RAID functionality.

I haven't done it myself, but apparently you can view the console in fullscreen mode.
