uberprinnyakatux
Ok heres my issue, I bought a nic, and a riser card to go into my router. From everything I can tell the router os's support the Gigabyte CT desktop nic's. I have tried PFsense, Smoothwall and now untangle. None of them see the card, however Suse, Debian, Ubuntu, and any flavor of linux I try will see this card. Even a hackantosh will see it. >< I would like to know if theres anything I am missing or anything I can do to get this to work since right now I have a pci nic twist tied into my 1u case :S What I have looked up so far. VaKo
Use lspci -vv (linux) or pciconf -lv (BSD) to see if its picked up at all. Then use this information to get the details of the actual hardware name for the nic.
