ookjmk Posted November 12, 2009 Share Posted November 12, 2009 Ok so I followed tutorial (http://wiki.hak5.org/wiki/Internet_Connection_Sharing_mit_Der_Jasager) on how to share internet from laptop to fon. I had to modify it a little because i dont have a second wifi card currently so im using my ethernet card to connect to the fon. Ive shared internet before i normally use my laptop for my 360 with a cross over cable. when i finished the tutorial i wasnt getting internet on any of the computers i tried at first they werent getting IPs but thanks to digininja i got that working but now im not sure whats wrong. the tcp/ip settings on the ethernet card are: IP address: 192.168.0.1 subnet: 255.255.255.0 I put the dns server that i got from my ap's internet my wifi card is shared the fon has the dhcp ip range of 192.168.0.100-200 I tried using a regular ethernet cable and a cross over tried http://hak5.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=12963 tutorial still no luck sorry for all the questions!!!
