Wetwork Posted November 6, 2009 Share Posted November 6, 2009 Hey all I have a friend and advid gamer who due to his location and work type is not allowed to access Ventrilo at his house. He asked me if there was any way to be able to connect to a vent server via a SSL Proxy or VPN tunnel but all my attempts at both were not able to connect. I tried setting him up with a remote desktop connection with vent installed and vent cant detect the remote sound card to initiate voice communications I attempted the Aditio way (That was balls of fun btw, getting adition to see vent as a service) and yet still nothing even with some SSL Proxy fowarding and it seems that vent wont allow connections that are proxied in any way whatsoever Does anyone have any idea how i can set up either a VPN/RDP or proxied connections that i can get this worked out Input is always welcome PS Yes i know that i spelled tunnel wrong in the title of this post Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
