Ok, it's me again! RDP Time!

As I've said in many other threads, my friend has a server set up so I can "practice" if you will. I want to try to crack a RDP password.. Anyone got any ideas?

I'm trying to use tsgrinder, but for some reason it is timing out.

I type

C:\tsgrinder>tsgrinder -w dict -l leet -u administrator xx.xxx.xx.xxx

Anyone see a problem?

EDIT: I believe it's a windows 2003 server.

Hi Longcat,

I am interested in knowing how your resolved this problem?

I am also having the same issues;

C:\tsgringer>tsgrinder.exe –w dict l-leet –u Administrator 213.175.***.***

RMDT opens but nothing;

Error:-

Timed_Event_Send_Recv: wait faile: TIMEOUT couldn’t get handle to client window

I have downloaded robosrv.exe and extracted it to my tsgrinder folder but this hasn’t resolved the issue.

Any help would be appreciated

Regards

I found the answer!

TSGrinder only works with the older Remote desktop builds, works fine on control version 5.1.2600.3581

On my XP Pro SP3 Machine its running Remote Desktop Connection version 6.0
