Sparda
Would it be safe to assume that all computers nowadays has .NET framework (2.0+) installed? No, it's an optional component of all versions of Windows and is not a 'mandatory' update.
Retro-Starr
Reason I ask is because keepass 2.09 requires .NET 2+ and I have lots of portable stuff, so I was curious. Mono sounds cool, but is there a way to get it portable so any .NET program (such as keepass) will run?
VaKo
A lot of things include the redist so its likely that it will already be installed.
Netshroud
You can get portable .NETFX with Thinstall (now called ThinApp)

Although, my computer just got it like 2 weeks ago. So some people might have it, others might not.

Check over at PortableApps.com, someone there might have gotten this to work.
SomethingToChatWith
Its older computers that you would need to worry about. Most Windows computers well have it now days. If you've got Windows Vista/Windows 7 its pre-included and I'm pretty sure it installs at some point in XP if you're upgrading to SP3. SourceForge used to have a project Portable .Net I think it was called. No longer available. It shouldn't be a problem though. I would think you'd only want to access your password database on a trusted computer, which if administered by you, you could always go get .net if it isnt already installed.
