Ubuntu Spyware and exec

So, I was at home sick and started writing a perl program just for the fun of it, and wrote a script that can get screen shots every minute, then it grabs 2 files from my site. If the date is the same as the one in the date.txt file, it will run the commands in step1.txt. I am going to write this in C++ in a few days and test it on ubuntu and window os.
