Personal area network between Vista and ubantu via bluetooth

Hello Hak5,

I have a desktop running vista and a notebook with ubantu 9.x. I need to share my internet connection or to create a personal area network using bluetooth. My desktop has bluetooth dongle and laptop with built in bluetooth adaptor.

So please give me some ideas or the procedure how to make this. Of course i did some small stuff but not working.

Adhoc over 802.11 wifi would be alot easier, any reason you can't do that?

i tried to adhoc, but it connectes this own network and saying connected 0%, pls guide me or give me the reference,
