ArkNinja
Could you please say everything you did exactly, you might have missed something because that is all I can think of. Also, have you tried it on a different computer, might just be something on that one computer.
Netshroud
It can't find menu.lst, are you sure it's menu.lst and not menu.lst.txt?
H@L0_F00
It can't find menu.lst, are you sure it's menu.lst and not menu.lst.txt? Sounds like that's exactly what's wrong. find /menu.lst, /boot/grub/menu.lst, /grub/menu.lst commandline reboot halt Is the default list that's actually found in grldr, so your menu.lst can't be found. To view file extensions open an explorer window (double click a folder or "My Computer"), go to Tools > Folder Options... and select the "View" tab. Find where it says "Hide extensions for known file types" and uncheck that box. Now make sure your menu.lst is really "menu.lst" and not "menu.lst.txt"

manuel
to the OP... if you are from the UK as you say you are, you make American English look like it is proper language... and we all know its not "proper English". Kid, go back to school and learn how to use proper language skills to communicate with others before returning.
