VaKo
A very nice idea, one thats been used in Crays for some time. However, the oil will eat away the PCB eventually.
wh1t3 and n3rdy
PCB replacement cost is alot cheaper than temperature control solutions.

It will eat the capacitors faster.... I'm waiting to see a home made Fluorinert submerged pc.
unasoto
I always wanted to do this in a fish tank type case and put a treasurechest and diver in it. purely cosmetic :)
JaValon
Here's mine if you want to check it out: I'm working on a cooling system now. I'm going to use a peltier chip on top of a cooling rod with one end in the oil and the heatsink in the open air. This way there's no pumping oil outside the case and risk making a mess. I'll post another video when I get done.
miT
A very nice idea, one thats been used in Crays for some time. However, the oil will eat away the PCB eventually. This actually was the least of my concerns, after a couple months of over-clocking + gaming, i found that the oil was actually eating away at the sealant that held the fish tank together. I came home one day... I'll let you fill in the rest.
