webdevil
He seems to have explained everything step by step. Which part of it are you facing a problem with?
joeypesci
To be honest, all of it as I haven't even started to attempt it. I'd like a step by step guide or where to start. What you need to set it up. What OSs are used etc.
joeypesci
For all reading this, yes, I want a noob guide. I am one and am not ashamed. We all have to start somewhere. Would be an interesting article to do. You're not attacking anyone, it's more like a honeypot than anything.
unasoto
Hes running this Squid. Now it looks like hes running all of this on something better than your standard home router or most likely some sort of OpenWRT
webdevil
You could as well use a linux distro and setup a rouge DHCP server with squid on it.
beakmyn
Hes running this Squid. Now it looks like hes running all of this on something better than your standard home router or most likely some sort of OpenWRT Well a WRT54G isn't fas enough to do the jpeg transforms let along getting them cross compiled. The requirements are: perl SQUID iptables dhcp imagemagick libraries I've been looking to do this on a pfsense box but upside-down internet really is a homegrown solution as you're rolling your own redirector.
