I have the power light and the internet light on, but do not have the wlan light on, is this normal or does it have to do with my problem. netman Posted July 27, 2009 Author Share Posted July 27, 2009 V 2.0/ICS I got it working by directly connecting it to me wired linksys router. But what go does this do. I cannot use wireshark for etc. I can get my eee pc to connect to the pineapple SSID. With this config I can at best test the fon, but I'd like to get it working with the air card. digininja Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 Depending on how you have it setup you become a man in the middle and can then route/see all the traffic you want to. If you go for routed connection sharing and you want to use wireshark then you need to set the default gateway on the fon to be the machine running wireshark and have that forward all traffic back out to the real gateway.
