+ Lots of small fixes for the client.

Pandora: Updated cryptokeys

Client: Protocol bump to v29

Client: Added fix_sound.bat and prompts to use if neccisary

Client: Use a seperate key for encrypting userdata

Client: Reworded some things, to make it more obvious

Client: Updated addFeedback RPC

Client: Added LastFault + calls in the station page

Client: Fixed station page station creation restrictions

Songza: Removed, service is defunct

SProxy: Preventative fix from caster regarding post data

Wine users, if you get:

Some guy changed load order for gdiplus native, which is throwing an error. (he also has been refusing in bugs attached to it that it was his commit causing the problem - lol)

and when I go to http://zzj.itf-inc.com/s2/ to try to install the update directly I get a "Failure To Connect To Web Server"

I checked my internet connection, windows ran a test and said that I am able to "access some websites". I was able to load the hak5 website (so I can post this.. lol) It asked what my problem was and tried to access the zzj website directly but said "troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem".

and when I go to http://zzj.itf-inc.com/s2/ to try to install the update directly I get a "Failure To Connect To Web Server"

I checked my internet connection, windows ran a test and said that I am able to "access some websites". I was able to load the hak5 website (so I can post this.. lol) It asked what my problem was and tried to access the zzj website directly but said "troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem".

That's a really weird error message, the response code doesn't match either... are you on some odd network?

The site is definitely working, so I really don't know what to tell you - maybe download the installer on another pc/network, then copy it over and install it over your old version? (same thing an update does)

Afaik, it's already newest to oldest, i can't sort it manually because they don't have creation dates. Sorting alphabetically would be easy to do, but it would break sorting by date as it would change the dictionary type used

Remembering feedbacks for a station is an interesting idea - will look into it.

I wonder, does Pandora let you get the list of song seeds /thumbed-up songs for a station? This might allow us to see how similar two stations are, by the number of matches.

I've stopped using seperate sets of crypto source for each program that uses it; all of them use the client's source files now, so the namespace has changed to Client.Crypto.

I'm sorry if I don't have this correct yet. I have modified my source to use Client.Crypto instead of Pandora.Crypto. However, now I get "Client.Crypto' is inaccessible due to its protection level.

When using the MS Studio object browser (up and down the tree), I am not able to find this function in PandoraClient.dll or Saver.Pandora.dll or Saver2.dll or SProxy.exe.

What am I missing?

I send HTTP requests to pandora and grab the XML auth token credentials by intercepting previous requests.

I started by sending positive feedback, negative feedback, but now I also send the song.tired request as well.

Most of the code is based on sample code that you provided. Here is your comment from Mar 17:

You'd use Pandora.Crypto.DecryptStr() to decrypt the request body. It really was not meant to be public (internal), but ah well. I'd recommend enabling WriteXMLs in advanced settings then listening to a few songs on pandora (sending feedback) to get a basic idea of the responses sent.

I don't understand your visibility comment (as it relates to other plug-ins), but I don't have nearly the feel for the lay of the code land that you do. Perhaps, you could put back the Pandora.Crypto hooks and just have them point to the new client code?

1. Don't worry, we have pills to control that.

2. Timeout problem is likely your local connection; upload a log anyways. If the outages are only for a minute or so at a time you can increase the retry delays - by default, it waits 10s then tries to connect again, and if that fails it stops completely.

3. To save from grooveshark or other supported services, you need to first set up your browser - see http://zzj.itf-inc.com/s2/docs/noobhelp.html (Pandora is the only one I wrote a standalone client for). After setting up your browser, you just listen to grooveshark et al normally and files will be saved. Check the Services menu (under saver2, on the sproxy window) for a full list.

4. All supported services save as individual music files; SProxy is not set up in a manner which can support saving from streams. Bitrate of grooveshark mp3s is 128kbs minimum, may be higher.

I had changed delay to 15s with prior version but still had probs. Haven't had it happen for a week so it prob was RoadRunner related.

Firefox was set to Auto-detect proxy settings for this network. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to configure Automatic Proxy configuration URL but I did and set it to http://127.0.0.1:8888/pac. Then I clicked Use system proxy settings. GS now working, taking about 6 seconds per song, and concurrently with Pandora. Amazing!

Here's another question that requires one of those pills you have ... why would I use Pandora when I can select a song, an album or an artist with GrooveShark? I see 160 and up bitrates. May not have album art but I change it anyway. And it uses the blacklist file.

Pandora (and slacker) are good for just listening to music - Grooveshark's radio thing is a sad joke. Grooveshark is best to cherrypick certain titles/albums with.

Either use system proxy settings or auto conf url would work.
