hey all this is a great program although i was using it for a day or so on and off and it worrked great in turbo mode but after that day i have been getting the error "failed to get playlist fail to execute xmlrpc" anyone else having this problem?

to the person who was named 'jeffc' on irc earlier: No, it wasn't trying to load a cs file - that is the location of the file in which the exception occurred on my computer. That is to say, something went wrong with the encoder and you're looking at the result of it. If you paste the message here I might be able to figure out what happened.

Same issue but the replies on this haven't worked for me. Having the same issue using mozilla. Had to uninstall saver2 and on re-install had this issue. All network settings set to "no proxy." Please give as much detail as possible with advice.

Messing with mozilla settings should not affect it.... but if you can access the internet via IE there's no reason the installer shouldn't work. So that would be my recommendation to try, open IE and try to go to google or something.

But I was trying Last.fm again this week, and not having any success at all. Last.fm loads fine (so its not the proxy), but don't see any files being saved - nothing in the temp file either.

I don't remember if I had it working before or after the latest update, or if something changed on the last.fm side.

Hey there

I tried to run Saver2 with my linux system using wine and Vidalia

I chained Tor to SProxy so i can listen to Pandora, it took me a while to figure out how to chain it in a way it could work and finally i was able to load the pandora player

but then when it just starts to download the SWF stuff SProxy crashes for some reason

I hope there is some useful stuff in the log

ah yeah and something strange is that i have to stop tor, then start SProxy and then start tor again

if i dont do so SProxy crashes right on start

Don't know what happened there. Maybe try using the standalone client (i wrote) instead of the website? might be something with the volume of requests.... i don't know what the error is, either, other than some internal .net thing dieing. (seems related to callbacks)

I love this, because I always have hated Pandora since they started that 40 hour limit. Revenge is best eaten in a program that steals their music.

And in return for this awesome program, I would like to offer my design services. The program looks quite, bland and gross. So anyways, I am a pretty good GUI designer and I would like to help. I can't help financially, but this is what I am good at.

Also, I will design anything else you need. Free! Corporate design, website design, GUI, photo editing, you name it. The only thing I cannot do is motion picture and 3d.

mm, yeah, it could look better... the main problem right now is that its all essentially hardcoded (the gui). Need a way to seperate the player and the gui in a way that the gui could be changed out. Was thinking a custom interface/class to that end.

Oh, are you not using visual basic? That has a GUI thing that is incredibly easy to use.
