silentknight329 Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I was surfing the web and found this OS called Moblin, i haven't had a chance to try it out but i'm downloading it right now. "Moblin is an optimized Linux platform that provides a modern, engaging user experience for mobile devices, such as netbooks, MIDs, and IVI systems. Moblin has a common core of Application and User Interface services and APIs, which provide application developers a rich and consistent development environment across multiple device form factors." (Found that on the about Moblin page) They're site is http://www.moblin.org Quote

miT Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 This os is pretty neat, it looks really cool, very simple to use, i wold recommend trying it out. Plus its blazing fast I think i'll stick to my Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix on my ASUS eeePC 900. BTW, if anyone is having graphics issues (laggy) i put up a kernel patch to fix it quickly. http://timashley.me/?q=node/7 Quote
h3%5kr3w Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I think the Netbook Remix is cute and all... but I really hate how it's so aggrivating to switch and resize/minimize windows. Quote
VaKo Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Intel designed it, I keep reading reports of insanely fast reboot times. Quote

I just didn't feel like messing with the kernel lol. Quote
