Hamster / Ferret on Mac OSX

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Anyone else using the Mac version of Hamster?

I'm using the most current version of 2.0.1

But I'm having some problems.

I get Ferret up and running no problems there but

during the capture, I get an error saying the Proxy failed.

Also from what I have tried with my spare laptop,

I visit a few sites and login on the spare laptop..

On my mac with Hamster I get the Ip, and the list of sites on the side.

But when I choose one of the links, it takes me to the site, but doesn't show me logged in.

am I doing something wrong? or are there problems with the Mac version of Hamster??

Would love to hear what others have found.

Not sure if you've tried using the superuser... Using

sudo ./hamster

then opening up Camino with the http proxy

127.0.0.1:1234

in my system preferences/network/proxies tab, and going to http://hamster and then using the "en1" interface works beautifully, even better than it did on my Backtrack distro. Good luck with it, I'd like to see if anything like that works for you.
