PSHumar Posted May 27, 2009 Share Posted May 27, 2009 Hey everyone, nice to be in a new community. I have a MacBook (intel 2.4 GHz, 4 gb) and I have XP set up with both Bootcamp and VMware. I only use XP to have access to all the browsers for my web development work. I would like to set up more vm's (linux probably), but have heard of issues with drivers. Also I would like to hear from anyone with the experience or expertise what the best setting are for running an XP vm. I have done a little testing and found that giving XP only 1 virtual processor is faster than 2. I haven't benchmarked or anything, just assumed based on the time taken to perform the same tasks.
