Worked, SSID openwrt or unnamed network!!!

Hi,

the FON Jasager router did not replay to the laptop(vista) with ssid that he is looking for, instead it is finding openwrt or

unnamed network.

i have used both Jasager v1.2/2.1 still the same

note: it is working perfectly with hamster/ferret

please advise.

Have you turned karma on in the web gui?

Tell vista to auto-connect to ssid Fred, watch the gui and vista, see if it connects.

yes karma is on

and also vista is auto connecting to my home ssid, so when i true off the actual home ssid off(wirless router).

Fon do not tell my laptop that he is my home ssid !!!

Is your normal AP encrypted? I don't know about vista but if it is then it may be that because the fon isn't encrypted so the wireless driver is smart enough to work out something odd is going on.

This sounds like the same trouble that I'm having, except I'm connecting with a Macbook Pro and not Vista. I'll let you know if I make any progress.

Then it is probably your wifi driver trying to connect, realising that the AP isn't offering the right security level and then disconnecting. Set it up to connect to an unencrypted AP and try that.
