anyedie Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 ive googled my heart out and cannot find a good opensource (free) burning program, not just music of course but ISO's, music, misc. data and cd's. Quote
cooper Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 cdrecord For DVDs: growisofs Graphical: gtoaster and KBurn (or K3B or something like that). Both should be front-ends for cdrecord There was some noise a while back about the guy who writes CDRecord. He's very vocal about how Linux is broken in its SCSI support, making his life very difficult. Apparently he's going about writing CDs the wrong way according to the Linux developers. Now a number of people have begun making a clone of his program that DOES follow the 'proper' Linux way of addressing a CD burner. I don't have any links or stuff, but Google should be your friend. sentinel Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 for windows, the free version of http://www.deepburner.com/ is pretty good, although not OSS. Quote
