Microsoft has released a pach that stops auto run files from running. That includes: CD-ROM device, USB device, network shares, or other media containing a file system with an Autorun.inf file.

Hmmm I bet there is a flaw in it or hope. Then again if the update is not asked then most people won't navigate to that page. You should check for exploits in it, I can't sorry.

If people do not already have it disabled then this isnt going to disable for you automatically.

No. Disabling the Autorun feature is an optional configuration that some customers may choose to deploy.

This feature is not appropriate for all customers.
