vinnythespy Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I own three decent LCD monitors that i have gotten over time. i have a NVIDIA GeForce 8300 GS which run on my pci express slot. its two video ports(dvi and vga)have my first two screens plugged into it. with that i dual screen. but when i got another card to add to this(which is pci because that is all i have left for ports) and plugged it in and let it update itself(Im running windows vista home premium 32 bit) It came up with this message "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" I know this card work by itself and has no issues or driver problems. if i go into bios and change what my initial video display is to eitehr card they both work but when i go my pci card my 8300 gives me this device error "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" I really want to have the third monitor but if there is no solution i can accept that. I would also like to know if i can use my on board video card as my third monitor port. but again i think thats a pretty big stretch. i thank you guys for any input you may have. Quote
