Hey guys,

I'm getting a block of 5 static IP addresses from Verizon. I was wondering if someone can suggest ways to delegate the IP address besides spending $3000 for a Layer 3 switch. I know that you can use the actiontec router but that only has 4 ports plus I'm not a huge fan of it. I know that there was a recent segment on pfSense. Is something like this able to divide IP addresses? Thanks for any help!

If this is for a T1 line then you are only using one of those IPs to set up the connection and then you set up DHCP to assign IP to the other PCs.

Thanks for your suggestions. I found a HP curve on the cheap and I hope it will fill my needs. If not I'll probably go the with a router and forget about one of the IP addresses.

Thanks for your Help!
