I need some help with Cain & Abel. It doesn't detect any mac adresses. I have a PCI WPN511 Netgear card with winpcap and netgear drivers installed. It doen't seem to pick up on anything on my network. I have configured the sniffer to the correct adapter. On my friends computer on the same network he is getting 3 mac adresses.

Apparently your adapter (or driver) doesn't support promiscuous mode, try turning it off when telling wireshark which adapter you want it to listen on.

Ok I got it working I just selected Don't use promiscuous mode in the sniffer config now it picks up the Mac Addresses on My Network. I meant APR.
