Going to nice, I hope the HDD installer is a little more updated, previous version wasn't very stable.

The addition of conky is great, it'd be nice to see a good customized version running.

I agree, personally I love grub as it has been very stable on the systems I use. If they could use that instead of lilo out-of-the-box then I would be happy. Oh, and maybe some UPDATES! I didn't like the update system. :P

EDIT: Lol, I keep thinking thats a real bug on my screen! Every now and then I have nats fly to my screen at night. I don't know where they come from, my house is CLEAN!!!! *damn NATS!!!

@L1qu1D, Unless you want ext4, Grub is pretty much a standard these days for newer Distros.

@Keiyental, what chipset do you have, and why did WiFi not work?

According to the blog, the KDE WiFi manager is disabled, as well as DHCP.

Good for WiFi users, inconvenient for Ethernet users.

I have an Atheros AR5700 802.11b/g Wireless Adapter. It seems hit or Miss with Linux. Some distros support it right with no probs, others need to install madwifi and dink around with alot of settings taking anywheres from a couple mins to 2 hours...thank you Ubuntu..

I have a Acer Aspire One with a Atheros chipset. BT seems to work just fine out of the box. The funny thing is, is that Ubuntu has problems with the Aspire One connecting wireless! It drove me nuts until I found a fix. Then Ubuntu updated to a new kernel and totally messed up my wireless. So for now...I'm waiting for Ubuntu 9.04.

If anyone was at Shmoocon, you might have seen the BT4 banners. Just wanted to say, I designed them for Offensive Security. I also did their stickers for the BT4 classes, the "I TRIED HARDER" and "TRY HARDER" stickers.

Here is one of the two banners:

If anyone has better pictures, let me know, as I want to add it to my portfolio for more work.

Oh, and BT4 is not officially out yet, just the pre-beta relased for Shmoocon. They really don't want people torrenting any copies yet so that there are alternate builds being seeded with vulnerabilities or broken, buggy parts. The pre release was just for Shmoocon attendees to debug, test and play with. Check his official thread for the release date: http://forums.remote-exploit.org/showthread.php?t=19928

Links in Muts blog post. As for stickers, ask Muts, but I think those are for students of his Offensive Security, OSCP and Back Track courses. I just designed them, but don't have any physical stickers(yet - im hoping Chris H. will be mailng me some!)
