nullArray
Over the past few months, my internet has been getting slower. Has anyone else noticed this trend? It'd be more likely that there are more people getting internet in your area rather than The Machine Stopping.
digip
Mine seemed to be slow the past few days, but I attribute that to the weather and more people staying indoors and getting online. I think it also depends on what you do online, as Comcast throttles connections when congestion gets too bad and you use too much bandwidth. Razor512
if your isp cant provide the bandwidth you paid for then call them and tell them to fix it, if they don't then switch to a isp that can you shouldn't have to suffer because your isp got greedy and oversold their service
Zaitsevs
It is all relative to the type of internet you have. If you have cable and neighbors are moving in...etc then yeah, you might experience slow down because you all share the allocated bandwidth per section. If you're using DSL and it's getting slower...it could be to line degradation..weather issues even. It may even be your router, it could be the time of day...your speeds are almost negligibly different anyway. If you start seeing some major drops or issues, easiest thing to do is to call your ISP. Eviltechie
I've got earthlink over cable. I've been spending more time on youtube lately, but it is slow, even at night. (like 1 am)
