Eviltechie
I want to start playing around with wifidog. But first I need to set up a virtual LAN of sorts. How exactly would I do this. I tried reading the manual, but it is all greek to me. So far I have a ubuntu server running on a bridged connection. But how should I configure my client? vector
you can configure vlans in your wireless router settings depending on the router and or firmware
VaKo
You can do some creative things with VMwares virtual switches. I quite often build networks with a virtual router with 2 nics, one attached to a virtual switch and another bridged with a 2nd NIC which goes somewhere else. joeypesci
I've been trying to watch the Train Signal training vids for VMware but by God the guy doing the training is annoying. He's got that weak, breaking voice as if he has low confidence and it's just got on my tits to much so had to stop watching. Only training vids of theirs I can watch are the ones by Scott Skinger as he's actually interesting to listen to.
