Tjvelcro Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Hi all, What are you favorite IT sites you visit Daily? Weekly? As reference material? I'm wondering because I like to learn new programs and technology but in my current job I cannot research and learn anymore so I have to tinker around at home. I only recently found Hak5 and find it is really good since most of the programs they show have something to do with real world IT problems and they have show notes so I can see what is inside the episode. Are there any other web shows like this? Tjvelcro Quote
wire Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Nope. Hak5 is special, there's no other show (notes) like this. I mean, the show notes are massive! But you might also like Systm. Daily? Hourly? Every second? Google. Weekly? As reference material? PHP.net, the place for all kinds of useful php function examples (that's my language of choice). Quote
Learnaseyego Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Not really sure what exactly you might be looking for, but if you are interested in staying up on gaming reviews and hardware reviews and some other little news stories the following url is a good place to go every now and then http://www.bluesnews.com/ Hope that helps Quote
H@L0_F00 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 One vote for google ;) You might wanna check these sites out though... They go back a while and are still quite active. http://infinityexists.com/ http://www.bsodtv.org/ But I still find this website to be the best ;) Quote
Tjvelcro Posted January 18, 2009 Author Posted January 18, 2009 Ya those are the types of sites I want. I have setup my browser to open multiple tabs when I open it because I like reading a lot online and to increase my IT knowledge. Tjvelcro Quote
