WinstonSmith Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I currently work at a company that sometimes requires me to go to locations and do on the spot troubleshooting and repair offshore. Granted most of my work offshore is malware removal and spyware checks, which I have malware bytes and spybot preloaded on a stick for that. How would you set a usb stick up for this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. cheers, Quote
DingleBerries Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I would use some type of PE environment to boot from and scan. Then I would have a copy of the corporate antivirus installer that i can use to uninstall and reinstall, also ccleaner and a port checker, to be sure all the proper ports are closed.. Maybe install Grub and boot PE, UBCD, and Hirens. Quote
WinstonSmith Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 Wow, those are some great tools. I have ubcd, but hirens is awesome. Thanks. Quote
